Shard to the Rescue tips needed
 

Has anyone got any tips for this mission to get gold, Seems everytime I do it I get so far and then a Hasfient (or what ever they are called) is stuck way back from the pack & I have to fly a mile back to be able to get to it which wastes alot of time. The other thing that happens is it is hard to do it in the time frame, I know it is possible because I did it in 8:33 and the target is 8:30. I have spent almost 3 hours on this 1 stage and haven't come close to that time again.

Finally done it with 10 seconds to spare, I ended up using the last battleset as it built up prowess faster and has a better attack. I tried Diamond Dash but found it worst. Thanks for your help.

Do you have the Diamond Dash battleset equipped?

The best approach is use up on your :rs: when it seems you're not gaining much on the enemy to do the rescue. Once you do get it, hit back on your :rs: and then hit up on it to get a good fast start. To gain prowess, dive and collect coins. Only bother with enemies on the way back if you need prowess (and by deal, I mean counter). If you don't need any, when they get really close to hitting you just hit left or right on :rs: and you'll hardly lose any momentum from flying.

I must be missing something. Is there a fast way to kill Hagsfiends? I am having a hell of a time killing them before they reach their goal. For a 3/10 this game is a pain in the ass for me. I must be missing something.

I had a difficultly with this level as well. I used Burning Spirit armor and just chained one attack after the other and crock screwed to get from one group to the other. I finally passed this level with a time of 7:11 and now I have gold on every level.
