I'll be definitely picking this up on day one. Usually I'm content with waiting for the deal of the week, but Castlevania is one of my favorite franchises of all time. It's a shame that this is only the 2nd XBLA title in the series.

I was able to preview this as a press member, so I have a really strong Alucard that has been all the way through the entire game, even on hard difficulty (according to the leaderboards as 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, the team I did this with are still the only people that have cleared chapter six on hard). I can work on my Charlotte or Morris, though, if people would rather I didn't play as a strong character.

I've published an achievement guide for the game on my personal blog. I'm not sure what the rules are here about external linking, but if there is interest, I can allow someone to copy it over in the standard achievment guide format and get people to add to it.

Buying it as soon as it comes out, hopefully 2 AM. Inv me if theres room.

Well, that's just fantastic. My save file just corrupted and I lost everything. I'm still game for playing, just don't expect me to have my Alucard anymore.
