Which Call of Duty's Veteran difficulty is the hardest?
 

I have beat every Call of Duty on Veteran except the first and third, I'm going to say three is the hardest. Maybe I should attempt beating it again? Hmm.

Note: I left out the games in the Call of Duty franchise that were not released on the Xbox 360 console. Apparently. Let the discussion / debate begin!

I haven't played 3 on Veteran, so I'd have to go with World at War. The others were pretty difficult, but I didn't have as much trouble with them as I did with World at War. I'm never playinmg that game again.

I'm going to rent three again and re-attempt it, two want hard at all. I will agree World at War was pretty damn tough.

It wouldn't have been that bad had they got rid of all the damn grenades. It was more like a party of explosives rather than a world at war. It was you vs grenades, not Nazis :p

Hah, that and there was BARELY any where to hide at.

Call of Duty 3 is horrible, 2's graphics are a ton better. Plus 3 is sketchy and has many bad glitches.

im going to have to say modern warfare, simply because of the mile high club mission - a nightmare!!!! other than that, id have to say world at war

MW2 is by far the easiest. COD 2 was just stupid. Obviously i was not as good as playing these sort of games back then so that may have been the reason

I've only played Call of Duty Modern Warfare 1 and 2. I've completed them both on Veteran and i would say MW 1 is hardest, out of them two.

Now, trick question. I'm stuck at the Silo on 2. Beat 3, but never got the cheeve (damn it!). Started again, and I'm stuck at some point (can't remember where). Going through WaW. Didn't find Hardened all THAT tough. More pain in the ass than anything. 4 I'm stuck at Shock and Awe (no matter what I do, I can't get to the first check point). Working my way though MW2 now, and it's just tough.

So I can't honestly say which is hardest overall. But I went with 2... damn you Silo! :uzi:

I've only played Cod4, WaW, and MW2, so out of those I voted waw.

Call of Duty 2 is hell.

Call of Duty 3 is OK but there is one part of the game that took me like a month to complete.

Call of Duty 3 or CoD: WaW ...

World at War... Never had I been grenade spammed as much as in that game. Because of the dramatic reduction in this game, Veteran campaign for this game is easier. Though, I am stuck on Contingency because of the timer to reach the sub. I need just 15 or so seconds to complete it and I'd be good.

I thought W@W was pretty hard(on Veteran)

well i've played 2 on vet didn't complete it played 3 on vet didn't complete it i played 4 on vet took me a hell of a long time to finish no fighting in the war room but i got my 1k played w@w on vet made haven't finished it due to zombie killing MW2 haven't started it yet but all of this talk about it being easier than the others i'm confident i can finish it. i voted w@w solely for the granades but i would put it at a tie with 2

Definitely Call of Duty 3.

Havent played Call of Duty 3. I dunno why CoD2 has so many votes, the only annoying thing is you have to do so many levels to get an achievement near the end of the campaign. CoD WaW was definatly the hardest by far.

Just completed MW2 on Veteran.

I think CoD: WaW is the hardest although I've only played Cod 4, Cod 5 and Cod 6.

I haven't played WaW so I said CoD2. However, the last level on CoD3 was murder.

I think Call of Duty 2 is the hardest and longest, even worse.

I played CoD 4 before CoD 2 and found 4 to be the harder of the two. However having never played a CoD game before that, and then going straight into Veteran mode, I think the steep learning curve of 4 caused the most stress out of the three I've completed.

I've played them all, but I voted for COD: WaW, your nearly a grenade magnet.. That's the only problem, COD:MW2 is the easiest..!! just took me 5hour and 30 mins.. I've even took a break to eat something.!

Call of Duty 3 is the only one that has given me significant trouble because it's extremely glitchy. So for me, from easiest to hardest;

Modern Warfare 2
Call of Duty 4
Call of Duty 2
Call of Duty World at War
Call of Duty 3

Personally I think WaW is the toughest on veteran simply because its the only CoD game that I can't for the life of me beat on veteran.
So far CoD MW2 is easy as pie. The only problem I am having so far is on Loose Ends where you have to protect the computer, I had a hard time doing it on regular and so far im not having much better luck with it.

Edit: Just beat Loose Ends, the rest should be cake:-P

yeah, protecting that computer was frustrating and the run downhill was even worse but I gotta say the white house lawn and getting to the sub drove me insane

I have not played Call of Duty 1, 2 and 3 but Call of Duty 4 is hard-ish on soe points but easy on the others, Call of Duty: World at War is solid due to the infinite grenades being thrown at you and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was SO much easier. Thanks IW. :)
