yeah guys, post here on the release date, nov 7 if you baught the game on that day so we can have some crazy multiplayer matches! i know i am gonna get the game on that day.

i ordered it off of Amazon with one day shipping and theyre saying i should have it on the 8th

so once i get it, ill play with you guys

I think I'll focus on single player for a while... but after that I'm up for online fo sho.

Is anybody even online for this game anymore? I mean, it seems like its lost a lot of its popularity and now with Call of Duty 4 coming out, it's seems like this game is gonna die.

i've been having a surprisingly hard time finding ranked matches online. even with the cod4 beta, there aren't that many other big multiplayer FPSs to replace this one yet...

well its like anyother game the diehard fans would stay or the boosters will stay or a new person who got it would jump in but with player matches theres always tons of people on just not on all the time i remeber playing cod2 when i had cod3 and cod4 was announced ppl still were on it not as much as it used to but theres still some.:drunk

yeah we should be able to find each other like nothing now... get an easy 1-2k points per game or even higher if we do it right and that method you can actually go for the 40k (i just need 20k more)

I'm in if you guys are going to do this. I'm going to get the free Call of Duty 3 with Call of Duty 4, so if you guys get a session going, let me know.

I have been trying every night for the past week to find some ranked matches. I would like to get the achievements for online play, but I haven't been in a room that had enough people to start a match yet... So, I am down to do some matches soon...

it seems more people are playing unranked matches. Can you get online achievements that way?

No you should started playing it before. Maybe you found some boosters here, but i dont that for me thats lame.

I don't have the game but I am considering getting it. Is the online COD 3 community still active these days?

It is, but not the way it was when the game first came out (or so they tell me).

I've heard rumors that MS or the game developers will pull the plug on the COD3 servers in August to prepare for COD5, so if you're going to get these achievements, you need to do it soon.

BTW I finally reached General this past Sat/Sun, just after midnight. Thanks to all who helped me out, and I'll be back in a week or so to pass on the favor to others.

Where did you read that from? I doubt that would ever happen though because Microsoft wouldn't allow it.

I play a lot and I will boost if the whole server is down for it, Why would they "pull the plug" on COD 3? COD 2 can still be played online. There r many new player liek me who picked it up used, would be insane to "shut it down".

I can't find anyone to play COD3 with. And I need some achievements. FR me if you want.
