I'm in the same boat you are. I'm an excellent debater and enjoy debates with intelligent people. Arrogance is what makes it difficult. If you decide to hang around longer and you see my forum posts, I do tend to post multiple paragraphs defending my points. You want to fight smart on the forum. Not argue just for the sake of arguing.
No you don't. It's true that the forums have their fair share of douchebaggery but many of us just choose to stay out of it. You went in head on. Not saying that's a bad thing, but that can give you a reputation of someone you either love or hate. No middle ground if that makes sense. I know you mean well but when you disrupt the "balance" on a forum, you can gain many friends and enemies.
