I have an English degree and do a lot of writing on my own time, but my current job doesn't involve much writing.

As for comparing your writing, it depends on what you are writing. W/ reviews, I compare my work to other x360a reviewers, or professional reviews online in magazines. For creative writing, I compare my efforts to published authors of similar genres and my peers in writing groups.

For research, I'd try your local or University libraries, though the amount of scholarly recearch on gaming is often... limited. I made extensive use of research databases in college. The major Sociological journals would be a good place to look. I also highly recommend Sage Publications (look online). They've got a massive collection of scholarly articles, which I used extensively in my research on MMOs. They usually charge by the article or for unlimited access, but every once in a while they have limited time free access. I took my articles during one of those free periods.

You can boost the regular Slayers with just 2 people. If you want to knock that one out by yourself feel free to man. I was thinking of getting a 2nd copy just to cut down on the time that way you and I can be on the winning team boosting Team stuff and it will cut the time in half.

Did you get the DLC? Also I cannot boost achievements until I get past 100K so take your time and play chromehounds. Plus GSL is around the corner and I have a bet with a friend concerning Hannah Montana to win.

Hey buddy. I've been doing a lot of out doors stuff lately too.. and indoors too I guess you could say. I painted upstairs.. how exciting I know. Was a 4 day effort but it looks better than the damn pros job downstairs. I had the day off yesterday so I kicked back and played some assassins creed.

Do you go on the trading forums on CAG at all? Damn there is a massive lowball sale there and man they got some good stuff lol. I see you are playing RE5. Do you have any of the DLC achievements?
