what i did was i made a blue print for the starting car. I just changed the color of the car. I then went into career _ garage _ cars. Right Trigger until it said blue prints select blue print. then it gives you some options. something like Make active blue print. then go to a solo race. like...i can't remember the name. 1st teir second race down. I selected the car with the blue print. I think you have to hit right trigger to select your career cars. then go race.

hey man, ive tried doing it myself. when i select my blueprint on my car it doesnt let me choose it during a race day but when i remove it, it does
