No problem, I added that I've seen that glitch before - with the massively huge numbers - but I've seen it on the Submit thread with a similar number - so it can't be the total number per complaints and submit. It must just be a total number on the whole. I haven't seen that glitch in at least a month or so though.

But it's Half-Life 2! What's not to love about it?

I actually never played it and I wanted Halo 2 to win GOTD, but oh well. What would be retro then? If they had a "Best Game Ever, of All Time" award? They could only announce a winner ever so often.

Ah. Cooleo. Makes me scratch my head in curiosity as to why BO2 wasn't nominated for a 360 GOTY, Microsoft is basically throwing money at Activision to get some incentives for consumers to buy BO2 on the 360. Spike's VGAs are f'ed up as usual, since it's based on popularity. And BO2 was another record breaker.
