Well this TV already has step-TVs, so I don't think we will have any of our own
Yeah, there is all sorts of conflicting information about keeping more than 2 females together or introducing more than one...basically my reasoning is agreeing with the guy in the shop and thinking that the two smaller ones will stick together if Rosie tries to beat them up, and also that if they really don't get on and can't be kept in the same cage they can be kept separately as I now have 2 cages - and the new gerbil will be much happier in a pair! So that's what I will do I think.
I think the TV and I will live a long and happy life together. I think this is true love
There were TWELVE female gerbils to choose from! They won't be ready until tomorrow so I am going to pick them out after work. They will be called Roxie and Rubie to go with Rosie! How twee I don't know what colours to get though. Rosie is a sort of silver colour, and the colours they have available are a natural brown colour, black, white, darker and lighter silver, and sand. I think I will get one of the natural coloured ones, and I did want the sandy coloured one too but she is very timid, which isn't a good idea in my opinion if I am already introducing her to one very feisty adult gerbil. The very light silver one was gorgeous too. Oh, too many decisions! xXx
I have spent about £100 on Rosie in the last few days. VERY spoiled! Annoyingly I had to spent £15 on bloody wire mesh, as the panel I was going to get was out of stock. I am hoping that I can cut this as it's really more than I need. Got to find some gaffer tape as well to hold it all in place. Oh the stress! It's my lunch break now so I am going to pop to the Pets at Home down the road and see if they did have any gerbils delivered in.
Well "soon" could technically be any time - it'll probably get pushed back. I'd have been impatient too xXx
I picked it up last night! The picture quality is absolutely outstanding and the sound is fantastic. It'll take me a while to get used to playing some games on it I think like GTA IV - not because of the size (I take my Xbox to my mum's occasionally and she has an excellent 32" Full HD Samsung) but because it is so vivid and I am not used to this size in the environment of my bedroom. Quite an experience. I think this could be true love!
I have decided to get another gerbil to go with Rosie - the annoying thing is that gerbils are so territorial that I have to introduce them via a split-cage method. The new cage is coming today and I have bought some wire mesh so they can see and smell each other but not get to each other to fight. It could take a couple of weeks for them to settle in - and in fact they may never accept each other! But now I have two cages it's not so much of a problem. I also bought a playpen so she can run around supervised and lots of new toys for her. She is definitely the most spoiled gerbil in the world!
Yeah iPhone is awesome. Not really looked at the iPhone 4 that much so not sure what the major benefits are compared to the one I've got, but might upgrade when the iPhone 5 comes out.
They are indeed...in fact PM coming your way! Had to do the bloody split-post thing again! xXx
Hmm. This is weird. Your last message is not showing up on my wall, but if I view our conversation it does. Odd indeed.
I got the TV in the end - I had asked Sainsbury's to email me when it was back in stock. They did so a couple of days ago and when I went to the site...out of stock. Anyway, I was exploring the possibilities of getting a 37" instead if I could find a good deal on one, but the prices weren't great. Then on the off-chance I went to the Sainsbury's site again...IN STOCK! So I am £329.99 poorer but one TV up (I am now technically a 4-TV person!) and OH EM GEE this TV is the best thing I had ever laid my eyes on. I am a little bit in love!
Aww that is so sweet of you to offer to do that! I did call both branches and they were out of stock anyway, so there we are. But I have the exact TV I wanted now and am very happy
You're kidding, right? That's fucking ridiculous! That's so frustrating! I'd definitely call, I mean if you're struggling to call them at work, I can call them for you and let you know what they said on here, if you like <3 See if I can reserve one for you.
Oooh tricksy gerbil! Chinchillas are so cute! But they move around so much!
Yeah, I was so excited! I'm loving it! It's INFINITELY better than my last HTC. I'm enjoying it so much and there's so many free apps! It may be a miracle, but it was certainly worth it. Our conversations are lovely <3 XxX
Would you believe it sold out yesterday afternoon? Then I saw it for the same price on Co-op Electrical, went to my mum's last night to use her credit card, logged on...and it had sold out!!! I am SO pissed off! My only hope now is Richer Sounds, as they have a branch in Bournemouth and in Southampton (a 25 mile drive, but it's only £299 so worth it) - problem is I have to try and call them ASAP today without the work police watching, as the offer is only available in store. No idea whether they will be in stock or not...I am guessing not!
Hehe I will get a photo, though she is a reluctant subject for pics! I will also see if I can find a pic of my chinchillas when they were still alive as they were both SO cute.
Oooh, 'citin! I have an iPhone 3GS and I played with it for about 3 weeks straight when I first got it. The fact you took time off to write me a message when you have a shiny new phone is nothing short of a miracle!! xXx
Well. I was going to get the Samsung TV as you know - however i have found a 32" Sony Bravia with Freeview HD and is Internet Ready for only £10 more (if I can get it instore, £10 delivery if not, but that's not bad) - so it'd be £329.97 plus delivery. I have found them selling for up to £500 so this is definitely a bargain! I am going to try and convince my mum tonight to pay on Credit Card so we're protected (and of course it means I can get it sooner!)
Yeah my gerbil is the cutest thing in the world - I will get a picture of her to show you. Even people who aren't really into rodents think she's adorable. And a commitment for 3-4 years is better than anything from 10-25+ years, as that's how long chinchillas live! So, you like big dogs then? ;-)
Ooooh what pressie did you get? Sounds exciting! Sorry to hear you're still feeling rubbish xXx
