If you were lucky enough that someone admitted their wrongdoing and asked your forgiveness, it means you both have decided to relegate the pain to the past where it belongs and begin anew. Even if you weren't asked, granting forgiveness is best for you as it allows you to leave your emotional baggage in the past where it belongs. Bring forward the lessons learned, but leave the pain behind.
