The vendortron at the gun runners is offering me 8110 caps for a single bar but he only has 8000 on him so I guess I wouldn't be losing so much money. Also, my barter is at 71 so that's what's boosting it so much.

Just checked your thread on the gold bars dude. I went to the Gun Runners robot to try and sell a gold bar since he usually has around 8000 caps on him but apparently that wasn't enough. I'm guessing the barter skill also affects the amount of caps you get when selling stuff to vendors?
