I absolutely love the game.
Great atmosphere, good story, really good graphics (on PC it can run with DX11 and looks spectacular).

I would say to pick it up if you see it cheap incase you don't like it.
The UK got a collector's edition, don't know if the US did. It has a cardboard slipcover, 4 art cards and a code for the heavy auto shotgun, which you can now get in the DLC.

Haha same, the Dragon Age below is the Asian CE, (sorry, should have pointed that out).
The UK version sucks btw, I actually returned it and got that instead.
UK is just a slip cover, plastic box, extra disc and code.
Asian is the wooden box, cloth map, then the rest.

Was actually cheaper than the UK version, including postage.

Yeah, that must suck.
If you're lucky though, the sellers will mark it as a gift.


I made the mistake of ordering the Arkham Asylum LE from Gamestop. (US got a way better big plastic bat case, we got a crappy cardboard box; also got a leather cover for the book and a Gamestop exclusive map).

It cost me $99(£62) for the game including shipping, but when it got here I got charged $48(£30) in import tax

Haha, yeah, I like taking my stuff out of the box, but I always keep the boxes.

As far as I'm aware AC never released with a steelbook over here.
The first AC's special edition was with the 12" figure, it just had a normal game with it in the box; as I remember it had a yellow thing printed on the cover saying something like, "Not for individual sale".

The CEs for ACII were the Black edition, which came with the figure, 3 maps that you can now download on the marketplace, a faux-leather artbook, a dvd and a normal game case.
There was the white edition which came with the other figure and a code for a map, (but you got that map with the black edition's 3); it was a normal case aswell.
Game released a "special edition" too, but it was just a normal case with a code for 2 maps, again, all included in the black edition.

That's the other thing, I've never had motion sickness before, but the nausea is so powerful that I can't even play games; they've been giving me motion sickness just to move the character. That's the Metro 2033 DLC delayed for a while

As for the Eve syringe, yeah, it was officially released as a replica.
