Okay...How many people think Bleach is losing its fire? After the Rescue Rukia Arc, I've been thnking the whole plot has kinda been de-escalating. I read the recent chapters and though there are some unexpected twists and turns, Bleach seems to lack that sense of something deep and truly compelling that the Rescue Rukia Arc had...I don't know. What do you guys think? I think someone from Soul Society needs to die... >:3

EDIT: No bleach fans? Anybody?...They all went to pick up the new edition of Naruto... T-T

Ya..I read Bleach now just because I've been reading it for a while now. It's still good. It's just not great. It seems that now it hasn't really been about Aizen but showing the bankais of all the captains you haven't seen yet just so you can go "Oooh! Thats cool!"

Plus they haven't really been using their popular characters all that much. Ichigo and the gang have been overshadowed for a while. There were a few chapters in between the captain battles when Ichigo fought Ulquiora(or however it's spelled) and it was right back to the captains again.

On a side note, I wish there was a Hajime no Ippo thread myself.. I'm only on chapter 437 but I love it. I think it's funny as hell. Also I wish for a One Piece thread as well... A man can dream though... A man can dream....

You can create a Hajime no Ippo thread and a One Piece thread.

First off, I agree, Doops0, that Kubo is just showing off some of the captains' powers and everything.

Second, here's where I disagree with Doops0:
I don't care about Ichigo and the gang; though, I wish Chad, Ishida, and Orihime became so much stronger and caught up with Ichigo's level of strength.

Third, you're not lazy. It's easy and fun creating new threads.

Now, to the current chapter of Bleach:
Holy crap!!! Did Wonderweiss just tear straight through Ukitake!!! I mean, I knew the tables were going to be turned on Soul Society, but really, with Wonderweiss and this giant thing as their ace! I wasn't expecting them to be hit so hard. And to top it off, Wonderweiss frees Halibel from the ice and Barragan's not dead, which doesn't surprise me at all. I was beginning to think that finally, someone from Soul Society was going to be killed...Until reinforcements for Soul Society just showed up (=_=)...

Bleach has lost it's charm for me, the Soul Society arc was top-notch, but it went downhill from there. In my opinion, they should have ended it right after Soul Society, not drag it out for as long as they have.

While seeing the captains is nice, it's become a drag before anything happens. After seeing Soifon's bankai, I really don't care anymore about anyone's bankai, because that was terrible.

Ichigo is the main character, they've taken too much of the spotlight away from him. Seriously, why did we have to wait nearly half a year before Ichigo fought Ulquiorra?

I thought the latest chapter was actually okay. Something actually happened! I do agree with Karma that the others should be a bit more powerful. Ishida is my favorite character. I always thought he and Ichigo were rivals, but the difference in strength seems too overwhelming now.

I'd actually like to see the development of some other characters. I'd like to see what's going on with Grimmjow (pretty sure he'll change sides...to a point. be like another Kenpachi. Kinda like allies, but always wanting to fight).

I'm also really interested in seeing what Keigo, Mizurio, and Tatsukis powers will be...

I like the arrancar thing so far. I do think some random person from the soul society should die to make things more interesting.
and I like Doops's idea about Grimmjow. That would be awesome =D
I'm curious about Kenpoatchi's sword. Maybe he will find its name..
