Raining Blood on Expert. HELP!

If you want the 5 star, you need to hit all the star power phrases. Trust me from personal experience, the 5 star can't be done if you miss one.

Use the path 2-2. Or if you can, 2-3. Activate as soon as you get it in the triplets (Hard Rain), then try in get it in either the start of Mosh (easiest) or the middle of the Verse (hardest). Just make sure you get one of them. If you can get both, that's even better. Then get the SP in Mosh, and activate in the 3 note chords. Then just try and hit as many notes as you can.

Also the 5 star is entirely possible by activating in Hard Rain and then saving all star power for the chords before Flood!, the song allows many ways to achieve the 5*... Too bad it's a bitch of a song to do

Teh evil, you sir are incorrect on this one. I only hit 3 star power phrases the entire song when I first 5starred it. I used all of them on the mosh 2 part and then did the rest.

I also hit almost all of the mosh 1 and fc'd mosh 2 with the Star power. I only got 227504 the first time though.

Just hit more notes :P

i need help with freebird on expert (gh2)
i can 4* it but when it comes to the fast bits at the end of the song, i just lose my groove, flow.... ect ect.
i miss like 400 notes on that bit.
any tips?

The only tip is to practice it man, i know that sounds corny, but its the only thing you can do to train your fingers.

don't anchor the notes when going up. basicly, just hit everyone and don't actually use the methods they say in tutorial. I still use the HOPO's but instead of say, leaving my finger on green to go to red-yellow-blue I just hit every one of them and then if its a zig zag i just do it backwards. Anchoring notes makes me miss. :P
