If I could choose 10 games to bring back ,with updated graphics or not, but with achievements and online play I'd go for these. Please discuss.
1- final fight-chance for younger players of street fighter 4 to see where some of the new charas on super sf4 came from.
2- Ghouls n Ghosts- leaderboards and a genuinely tough challenge would fit xbla perfectly
3-Street Fighter 3 third strike- its a game that still has a high level of competition with tournaments still held today.
4-Dodonpachi- Evil hard bullet hell shooters are in short demand.would be great amongst a growing number of puzzle games,add some variety.
5-Powerstone- perfect xbla fodder
6-Afterburner/Space Harrier- either of these would be great
7-Killer Instinct- this is a personal choice
8-XMen 6 player arcade- Total chaos
9-Daytona- add a bit of polish this could be really good
10-Pang- an awesome game

That is a good list. I would include quite a few of them in my own list as well.

10) Powerstone- Why hasn't this been on XBLA yet???
9) Off Road - Update this with better graphics and it would be insane multiplayer fun.
8) Thrill Kill - Never officially released because it was too violent. Gamers are more mature now!
7) Ghost N Ghouls - A classic that needs some XBOX love.
6) NBA JAM- the crappy game, NBA Unrivaled, made me want this even more.
5) Beetle Adventure Racing - Not a very common game, but fun nether less
4) Skies of Arcadia - A RPG that was absolutely brilliant.
3) Daytona - oh, hell yeah!
2) Techmo Bowl - The best arcade football game.
1) Goldeneye. - The coding of the game is complete. Quit teasing us and release it.

6. Snatcher (Mega CD - BRILLIANT game)
7. Shenmue 1&2 (Dreamcast - achivements for obtaining all the collectibles? )
8. Moonwalker (Mega Drive version - it was just good and I'd like to see it)
9. Toejam & Earl (Mega Drive - one of my favourite 2 player games on MD. I know it was announced for XBLA, but we haven't heard anything in a while so I'm getting worried... )
10. Tombi (PS1 - Tomba in the states. A brilliant platformer. I never actually had the full game in the end, but I played the demo over and over. The game wasn't that easy to come by. I would LOVE a re-release. Klonoa got it on the Wii, so why not? )

Both of your lists contained a game I have never heard of called Pang. Since it was highly regarded from two arcade gamers I would like to try it myself. Where can I play it at? What the hell is it?

I first played it on the Amiga - it's a brilliant 2 player game. I think the video I linked to above is the Amiga version by the looks.

You might have had difficulty finding information on it, as it has several different names, Buster Bros. being one you may have heard of. There's been several conversions and sequels to the game too. A new version, or a compilation of some of the Pang games would make me very happy.

Jet Set Radio would be awesome, as would Simpsons Arcade. Can't believe Gals Panic is on there - that's insane!

Splatterhouse may be done being as there's a new retail game coming. Or did that get cancelled, I can't remember...

Lastly, Final Fantasy Tactics is a tactics game, not a tower defence game surely? I'd love to see the original PS1 FF Tactics, being as it never came out over here in Europe. The GBA one was good, but was a totally different game, so I'd like to experience the PS1 one really.

EDIT: I also meant to say - until the XBox supports a usb mouse, I don't want Lemmings on XBLA. Sure you could use the Analogue stick, but it's Lemmings and it's meant to be played using a crappy Amiga mouse!
