I was going to jump straight into Eternal Sonata after finishing this but I think this whole 2nd playthrough debacle has killed that idea. It'll be Two Worlds instead, ha ha!

DAMN YOU!!! Ha ha, you're just determined to beat me is all - those rares were the only things holding you up so I could grind my way back level. I'm off on Friday though so will have a whole day of grinding goodness and I'm hoping to get D1 totally done with. So it's not been too bad - glad you weren't as badly off as I was.

I may level up somewhat and then do some Rare hutning regardless - just to find rare components and the like.

Yeah, those rares are a pain. I'm torn whether to finish up the Guru ach on my old save as I've already killed three of the creatures required, plus I've disassembled loads of creatures so may do the 500 thing on there too. Save me grinding it out on my new save.

Can't believe how short the game is - I'm just before Nest of Eagles already, though do have most of the quests to do again. Despite my agony, I'm secretly enjoying the fact everyones stats are flying up after each battle, ha ha!

Ha ha, I'm at BR 8 and some of my units have better stats than when I was at BR 68. How bad is that?

Did Numor Mines last night at BR 5, ha ha! I'm grinding up a few levels to tackle Nest of Eagles and then once I have a full party the fun can really begin. The only real issue is the fact I have sod all money and my units know very few good healing arts. Everytime they learn a new one I do a little dance of joy.

Once I've done NoE I'm going to go and do ALL the sidequests (baring the missable ones I did already) and hopefully I'll be all good.

Ha ha, yeah it's a pain in the balls but I've done worse for less points. I'm going to get past Numor Mines this weekend, grind my guys up a bit and then finish the first disc off. Hopefully be back where I was by next week. What a nightmare.

Not sure about learning those arts though - do they need certain components or just a high BR?

Sigh. I came to the same conclusion yesterday - I've just restarted this morning and I'm currently BR 3 just before Elysion. I've kept my old save as I'll use it for getting the achievements for splitting monsters and the rare items etc. What a waste.

I was loving this game but the stupid levelling system has killed it for me now.

Ugh. Finally got to the ancient ruins this morning but died from the first enemy. It was this annoying amoeba thing that kept summoning more unions. I killed off nearly all of them in the first turn but then three more unions turned up in each of the next two goes.

Not looking good, ha ha!

Ha ha, it can get a bit repetitive for sure. I'm going to polish off the last quest on Disc 1 (Silver Falcons 2) and then grind for a bit tonight. I think I should be OK to be honest as the creatures in the Ancient Ruins ar emeant to be quite tough.

Good luck with the guides, it was the first thing that really interested me in the site until I got swept up with the reviews and what not. I'm always available for editing though if you need an extra pair of hands.

End of disc 1 and I'm BR 68 - seems a bit too high for grinding purposes but I shall give it my best shot. Hopefully I can still get my unions up to major strength as I'm aiming to get them to about 6k each in health if I can.
