Still great tho, that 10$ can go towards gas or a pizza w/GTA V. =P Yeah, I'm getting the SE version. I still have my SA guide that has a map in it as well. The guide is great too because it shows all weapons, vehicles etc and I think on my way home from picking it up, I will glance to see if there's a tank or jetpack. Then again, I remember in the SA guide, one or two items were black out with no image... a mystery. May be something you have to find yourself.
I think it's ultimately only a $10 savings, but every dollar counts when I'm saving up for future games! I'm the same, I'll use it for collectibles, stunt jumps and 100% completion requirements only. It doesn't state whether or not it comes with a map, but I'm sure it will. I know the Special & Collector's Editions of the game come with a huge blueprint type map of the game which might be really helpful.
Lucky you! If only I was the type to purchase things online, I would probably be saving money. I doubt I'll use it for missions, more so for finding pigeons or whatever there is and doesn't the guide itself come with a map as well?
Lol, I don't think anyone will be able to put down GTA once they're into it I found the hardcover strategy guide on Amazon for only $22, which is what Gamestop was offering for the standard one so I think I'm going to preorder it now. Should be really useful. I can't wait
I'll probably do that when I can put down GTA V when it's out.. not sure when that's gonna happen tho, lol. You should do it within the week, I don't know how "limited" of a time you have as they say, but the sooner the better. Less than a month away now.
Don't mention it! Hopefully you get around to it at some point, it's a really fun game despite some of the negative remarks some people may have towards it. I usually only ever buy strategy guides for Rockstar games but completely forgot to preorder one for GTA, I gotta get on that!
Thanks for that. Might have to wait now tho, I decided to pre-order the GTA V Strategy Guide today, regular one. I don't ever do that, but it's GTA after all. I think I'll still get it sometime down the road. I'm surprised games like Battlefield Bad Company 1 are still active on MP.
The MP in Max Payne wasn't bad at all. Most Single Player games have that "tacked-on MP" feeling, but MP3's felt perfect to me. The whole third person cover controls and game modes were really fun, but I'm not sure how active the game is now. I'd say if you have nothing to play until GTA V, then definitely check it out as the game is only $15ish. If you're busy with other games then you might wanna skip over it. Although the Single Player is great too!
