I like you then. At least you can look at where I'm coming from. The MP to me is such a letdown and kill farm factory compared to the first. I had long lost hours of awesome on the first. I just like Horde in the way they "upgraded" it from last time and Beast could just use a tad more "umph".
Like I said about the DLC, it was going to be given anyway. In a positive light, it's better than a D/L b/c of less chance of data corruption. On disc, all you would have to do is replace the disc at any cost, free or retail but that's just my opinion. You can always re-download something but who's to say it won't be fully affected. Anyhoo, that's just my spin on it. Point is, I'll take DLC period.
Nah. I don't take things to heart. The world is automatically going to have its debates on, well, everything.
I can agree and disagree with you. Mostly agree. The MP is what keeps me around when it comes to Gears. But don't get me wrong, I love Horde. But Beast and MP could use some work.
The on-disc stuff is a let down. Epic can post all day long how its "not cut content", but as you can see. Its on the disc, and cut away from us. I just feel I lost respect for them. Seems like they're going to turn into another EA or Activision.
I'll accept that sir. I appreciate you as well not taking a small debate to heart like most of 'em. That aside, I can't agree the MP is the best. It's gotten a bit better but it's flaws are what destroy it.
-The fact matches are still untimed are what kills me.
-I can understand it's up close power...but the Sawed Off is cheap. Disgustingly.
Otherwise, the DLC on disc argument is another i'm half in/out with. It sucks knowing it's there but it's more like the major part of it is there. The groundwork so-to-speak and you're initially buying the rights and startup "code". Either way, they were going to put it there anyway so it's a means to an end argument, if that makes sense. To me, Gears has become more about Horde as it's main attractor which is what ropes me in.
