Oooh, that sounds really cool! Good luck with all of those plans; it seems like you have great plans for what you want to do in the future and I really hope you succeed with all of that!

and once I have significant experience in the game development industry I plan on starting my own development studio. Granted that things go according to plan of course. I have a few ideas for games I would like to see made into reality someday.

I'm starting this fall too! I'm really excited to go! Well, even though you may be behind, it's always better to start late than never! I bet you should be able to get on track as long as you concentrate on your goals and don't give up!

That's pretty cool! Learning several different programming languages will definitely be helpful when it comes to finding a job after college. Hopefully you will be able to get to program video games at some point; you may need some experience first, but I bet the opportunity to do so will be out there somewhere!

This fall, waaaaaaaaaaaaaay far behind on school. Made some bad choices out of high school, hopefully I can get back on track.

I am gonna try and learn several programming languages so that I am not limiting myself to one area or style of programming. As much as I want to program videogames, I won't limit myself and ultimately shooting myself in the foot. I am going to do some studying into writing and business as well so that I may be able to more than program once/if I get hired by a development studio.

The new Xbox is near the bottom of my priorities as well; luckily I have a giant backlog to suit my gaming needs for a long time while I try to save up for college and possibly going abroad in the future as well. Getting a computer that is good for school and good for gaming sounds like an excellent idea! Programming sounds pretty awesome too! When are you starting school? o.o

As much as I would like one right away, the new xbox is at the bottom of my list of priorities. College and a new computer being number one and two. New computer only being so high since I will need one for school and it can't be basic needs, as I am going into programming and such. I figure I will drop the cash for a gaming quality computer so I can kill 2 birds with one stone. Get what I need for school and then finally have a computer a I can play a few games on

From what I've heard about them, it sounds like having one is excruciatingly painful. I'm glad that's over with for you and hope you never have another one of them!

I need a lot of money as well! x.x I'm saving as much as possible for college; I might not even be getting the new Xbox for quite a while. :/

Very painful experience, I hope to never have one again. Although now that I have had one I am apparently at higher risk for having again, considering the amount of pain and money spent I hope I can avoid that in the future.

I really hope so. Between pax, the new xbox, new computer and college I need a lot of money :/

Oh wow, that definitely is a ridiculously long amount of time! At least it's finally out of you though! Having one sounds like an awful experience, especially for that amount of time.

There haven't been many hiring signs near me, but the places that are hiring seem to be very picky. I hope that the pavement company will have some work for you to do! Even McDonalds turned you down? That must be one very picky McDonalds! D: Just keep your heap up and keep trying! I bet you will get hired somewhere eventually!

Yeah it was in me just short of 2 months, absurdly long time especially for such a small kidney stone. The worst of that is over, thankfully.

Yeah they are, several places put up hiring signs but never hire me when i apply. I might have some temp work with a pavement company for the summer, which honestly I am not counting on. He said he would call me early next month at the soonest if he does have work for me.

Even Mcdonalds turned me down, that hurt ;.;. I just gotta keep on trying another new hiring sign went up today so hopefully I will get that. Gonna go in later and pick an application
