My computer class ends in 2 weeks and my english ends today. Neither have regular final exams so they get out earlier than the other classes.
The DLC is just a good excuse to make sure I can put in what I want to put in I guess. I was gonna do 1 game, to settle for the formula for the club that I want. Now that I have the game I really want to put in it ....
Oh you're near the end? That's pretty neat. What are you planning to do once you've finished your classes?
Oh wow, that's pretty horrid timing for DLC. I hope it's fun though to make up for it. I'm certainly looking forward to seeing what you've come up with for your staff club. Will give those images a look.
Yeah we both are bad at responding timely, so its fine.
I imagine, its good that its helping you improve your skills, even though its a for fun type thing.
Yeah, I do need to hurry up and finish a few things though. I still need to do my ms word exam and that was the 2nd section of the class. we just started the 4th and final one today lol.
I really like the purple. I am having fun working out what my staff club will be. I picked the games, I just need to re-complete one (thnx DLC that doesn't come out for another week) and complete another which I just bought. Still trying to think of a decent blurb and thinking of how I want the tile for my award to look like.
These are just concepts, since Idk if I can used a trademarked/copyrighted characters in the image. But for a basic idea of what I am looking at check your pms
That sucks that it was brought on like that. Hope you get well soon if you haven't recovered already.
Creative writing has been pretty fun. I'm doing it as part of a role-play type community, which has been a lot more enjoyable than writing by myself, although with 2 NaNoWriMos in the last year there's been no shortage of that either. Another bonus of role-play is I get to build my character around what other members are doing with theirs, and I think that's helped me improve my character development and plot making ability quite a bit.
That's good that you don't have any due dates before the end. I know they'd stress me out from watching my sister get all her work ready for grading each half-term. I have a few practical assessments which count for 20% of my grade, but other than that it's just exams in June.
I have to say you look pretty darn awesome in purple too! Welcome back to the staff. It's great to have you back on board.
It was brought on by breathing in some vaporized cleaning chems at work.
Creative writing? Awesome!
Yeah hopefully I can hold it until the end of the semester. I still have a decent amount to turn in for the computer course. Luckily nothing has a due date so as long as I turn it in before the end of the semester I will be fine.
I've been lucky enough to not get a cold yet. I usually get them as the warm weather starts coming again though for some reason.
A huge congratulations on each of those mate, especially on getting a job. I'm pretty good thanks. Finishing up my uni application for next September - hoping to go to either Norwich or Hull. I've hardly spent any time gaming over the last few months. I've kinda gotten carried away with creative writing, and that has been eating all my free time.
I'm hoping to up my grades to As this year. I missed out by something like 2 marks last year lol.
Sick with a cold but otherwise fine. Finally working again (hence being able to sub), I have A's in both my classes heading into the final weeks of the semester and hitting 200k a week and a half ago was great
I keep meaning to go back to Pearl. I'm currently in the pre-Pokemon league bit but I always tend to burn out leveling up my Pokemon ready to take the Elite 4 on and play a new one instead.
Best of luck with that job you've applied for, and congrats on getting into school. Going back to maths and algebra after a few years without it is horrible to begin with. When I took my first maths exam in January I scored horribly, but thankfully I managed to get 3 Bs across my subjects this year. Being 2 marks off an A in chemistry was a tad annoying though, but I can make that up next year. Going back into education is brilliant though, and I certainly haven't looked back.
Been learning how to edit pictures in gimp. Found my pokemon Diamond and Crystal so I started playing Diamond a bit. Other than that trying to get ready for school and still job hunting. I found one I really like so I am try really hard to get it.
I took my placement exams today. I scored above average overall. I got an 89 on the reading section, so I am proud of that. As expected though I didn't do great on the math or writing portions. But that's what inspired me to get my ass in gear. Is to improve my writing skills. + I have never been good with Algebra. I sorta cheated my way through getting my Algebra 2 credit in high school :/
