I'm not a huge fan of music from video games, because I find them pretty boring, stereotypical and nothing compared to some artists. However, here are a few that I love to hear.

3)Zelda theme song- I think its the battle music but I'm not really sure
2)Magus Battle theme music- from Chrono Trigger (just kick ass)
1)Frog theme song- from Chrono Trigger (man this one is just crazy, absolutely love it)

Come to think of it, games have some shitty music. Only good original music in a game I can think of right now is RE4. That shit was awesome.

4. The entire Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 soundtrack kicked ass

Anthing by Nobuo Uematsu is great. He has composed most of the Final Fantasy music. I also like Jesper Kyd's work. He did the Hitman series and Robotech Invasion.

1. The best soundtrack to a game would be Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory by Amon Tobin. I cant stress how amazing this album is.
