It took about 2 hours to get the last 3 officers I did it.

Liu Yong, I had to conquer him and end A Gathering of Heroes three times to capture him...

Do Gathering of Heros

Just take over all areas but one, search, get all the ones you can that don't say "GET", then take over the last area and CAPTURE all officers, not kill. Hire them at the end of the level...that easy

Except for the fact some officers will simply never Join you unless you give them something (which you can't do after capturing an officer.) Just stick with the guide I posted.

I didn't know about not hiring the guys with Get by their name and going for the others. Once I figured it out I was able to recruit the last 3-4 I needed in about 10 mins. Good Times

This one is kinda hard.

1. Do you guys use recruit?

2. And another problem I have:
When I conquer a territory, I can only hire 2 MAYBE 3 officers I catch, the rest have to be released, what is up with that?

3. Do you actually have to keep these new officers? Or can you recruit them and NOT place them leading to their immediate release?

Some officers won't join you initially if you don't have another officer - for example, it's hard to get one of the Qiao sisters without having the other; Zhu Rong won't join without Meng Huo; the Shu brothers stick together; etc.

yes congratulations I went hardcore on this game and finsihed 249 officers in about 3 days but it took a whole night to convice the last guy to join but I got him I didn't know I was member of an elite club cool!
