Has anyone else had this problem?

I started out loving this game. Now after around 6 hours of playing it has frozen at least 3 times. I know it's not my Box, it's the game or the save. None of my other games do this. I was wondering if I should try another disc or just return it and get a different game. Thanks.

mine hasn't frozen but after 9 hours into my career the game is suddenly running really sluggish and the framerate goes crazy often. I thought it was just me but my friend told me that his game was fine also untill he got further into his career and now hes having random problems. It must be the game.

Well, I think I'm going to return it and maybe try it again when it drops to $20. I'll buy Oblivion with the money instead. Such a disappointment from such a great movie trilogy.

nope, havent had that problem either. this game is fantastic you really should give it another chance.

That happened to me with Saints Row. It got to the point to where it would lock up my 360 as soon as the game loaded my data. I took the game back and got another one and it did the same thing. I even erased my SR data and started over, but it would freeze in the opening scene. The only explanation I could find was that someone said it might be caused by a conflict with Dead Rising game data. Do you have DR data on your hard drive? I haven't had this problem with The Godfather (knock on wood) but I'm only 5 and a half hours in with gameplay time. If it happens again with this game I'm going to be really pissed, because I traded Saints Row and Hitman in for this one.

I do have a Dead Rising gamesave on it. Man, if this is Dead Rising's fault that really sucks. I traded it for Oblivion I'll buy it and try again when it goes down to $20. I enjoyed the game, just the glitches piss me off. Next-gen games should not do this kind of crap.

You do have Dead Rising on there huh? Well crap...if this game crashes on me the way SR did, I'm going to assume it is Dead Rising's fault and then I'm going to go kick Capcom in their teeth. Saints Row didn't start freezing up on me until I was 35% done with the game (can't remember exact playing time) but I'll probably get to that point soon with the Godfather. I'll let you know what happens...
