Subject: URGENT: Fable 2 Limited Edition Retail Communication

We have identified that some copies of the “Fable II” Limited Collector’s Edition are missing the downloadable content (DLC) cards, which give access to in-game bonus content. This represents a small fraction of the total number of “Fable II” games shipped and sold, and is contained to the Limited Collector’s Edition of the game in North America. Microsoft is currently investigating the scope of this situation and regardless the outcome of the investigation, are implementing a plan to address it. We encourage anyone in North America who purchased a copy of the “Fable II” Limited Collector’s Edition that appears to be missing the DLC card, to please visit xbox.com/support for the latest information (after 8am PST on Oct 21st). We apologize for the inconvenience.

This is why they should have just offered one version, since the LE version got insanely stripped down and then offered the extra content to all through XBL.

Thanks for the info. I got my LE in the mail and it did not have the DLC codes. At least they are making right on this. Hope it is not to much of a hassle.

At least the 2 discs are in seperate slots, unlike the Halo 3 LE disaster.

Yeah I just popped open my game and am missing the codes as well it would seem. I dont mind too much as long as they make it right fairly quickly. I think that the only way they are going to be able to do this quickly though will be to simply give all the promised stuff to everyone and maybe add in some more extras for LE purchasers by mailing in a UPC original or receipt or something of the sort.

How are the bonus items? Are they available immediately upon reaching adulthood? Are they better than the items won in the pub games?

I have not merged my pub games characters just yet, but the halo suit(for looks) and the sword(very good sword, but can be replaced immediately) is available after reaching adulthood.

Sad to hear about all these from the US, Singapore has our own distro for printing and distribution, ours are A-OK. Even comes with PUB games DLC code....

We are currently investigating the scope of this situation and regardless the outcome of the investigation, we are implementing a plan to address it. We will have a means to deliver replacement codes by Oct 28th so please check back then. We apologize for the inconvenience.

US got Pub Games DLC card with pre order. I ordered the collectors edition for the extras (the cards and figurine).

The Halo Suit is neat but quickly replaced. Gets kinda old kinda fast and hides all the tattoos. Maybe It'll be awesomer when I get to adult hood

It wasn't lionhead it was microsoft... Technically had nothing to do with them but the people they hire to put the stuff together in a package...

I got my copy from gamestop online and actually did get the DLC.
The Halo outfit is kinda cool, getting old real fast.
The sword was replaced for a much stronger one shortly after getting it (it looks sweet though).
Haven't seen the dungeon or whatever.
