1. Gold is nothing - You can just start again
2. If it gets taken off you, then you wasted £8 or whatever on the pub games.
3. How do they check if you've glitched? A friend of mine popped it on mine.

Cry, I'll cheat ingame too. And when my caniving in game wife leaves me for drunken spousal abuse and gambling addictions I'll take her out back and show her the way of Ol' Yellar. You cheated, deal with it, make the best of it.

People that have the game early have shown that what happens because of the glitch would still happen in game anyway. The reason PM said that people would get whats coming to them was because of the major corruption added when they load up their millions onto their character. As everytime you gamble, you get a small amount of corruption, so think about what happens to the ones with millions from gambling.
If you got the gold from blacksmithing and shop work, no corruption, actually its good for you, so no harm. The items from the pub games is still unclear as to how much corruption it gives you, but seeing as the very mysterious ring is plain useless on your hand, i wouldn't worry.

they just take the gold nothing else happens. i have the game early and i can confirm the when you merge and eload fable 2. your gold is simply not there. to combat this just play off line until the game is updated for co-op play. i am doing this and buying everything I come across.

Just think you will be able to experience something different if there is a "punishment" which I doubt there will be. I have a 200k debt just to see what will happen on the otherside I have 300k on another account both with all items.
