Hi
I've been looking at callofduty.com in regards to the BETA keys and its says that members of charlieOscarDelta.com will be given a VIP status when they activate there account with the new callofduty.com site and they will be given beta keys ?
Well i have the VIP things on my callofduty.com profile and a purple heart (not sure whats that for) does this mean that i will get a beta kep early and also I live in the UK does that make any differance ????
can you let me no guys. I was also reading the forum on COD.com and they said they should be giving keys out soon does anyone no when ?
Thanks
she haunts me

The beta has already started. If you are a VIP check your account/profile on the CoD website regularly. Hopefully you'll see your key soon.

I got my VIP Beta Key the other day via the email address that I registered with on the COD website.
Hope that helps.

yes, the beta will not come via email. you will need to click on the callofduty.com website at the top where it says "My Account" then click on "Account/Profile" and if you have it it will be at the top above the "Required Information". if it's not there you don't have it yet. (like me)

Unfortunatley it seems the the scheme is a little flawed for people like me who preorded from game we should have been upgraded to VIP status on COD.com however it hasnt given me my badge or my code. But habing spent hours trawling the forums some one suggested that there was a chance that some of the UK game customers would get their codes today. So i guess we have another hour to wait as they seem to send out codes at 7pm their time... Lets hope so. There are a lot of angry people out there who have not got their codes even though they preordered and yet activision gave out 40000 codes today on eurogamer and a french site. Which a lot of people feel is a little unfair

That is incorrect. I received my beta code yesterday by means of email directly form callofduty.com I had copy and paste and code they gave me than unlocked the real code. Check your emails in the next few days, something might pop up.

Actually, retard, it's always been distributed via e-mail so stop trying to make yourself right.

You might as well delete that post before you get an infraction from a mod or staff member. Stop bitching at each other, the beta primarily comes through email.

I don't know what the VIP Status entitles people but i have only been a member of COD.com for a few months and have never signed in or posted on the forums, and i got a beta key.

According to callofduty.com, VIP status is attained after:
VIP members (former CharlieOscarDelta users / early sign-up's)
I guess this would make sense because last year I signed up at CharlieOscarDelta.com for a chance to get the COD 4 beta. Luckily I did, but I never went back onto that site again. A few months ago I signed up at callofduty.com after WaW was announced. If you've been a longstanding member, than chances are you'll eventually get in.

Yea i think i made a seperate account with charlieoscardelta.com, would it transfer over or was that just for COD4?
Wait, so what does VIP status grant you?

I'm not exactly sure, but I think having VIP status gives you a better chance of receiving a beta code (in comparison from the regular members at callofduty.com). I'm not sure by what they mean by "transferring" from charlieoscardelta.com to callofduty.com, but I think it may mean just making identical accounts on both websites with the same user name, password, email, etc.

That's funny because I'm not a VIP on COD.com and they sent me a beta code via email, 2 DAYS after I signed up.
