Any tips/tricks for Well Rounded Player and Cool Off?

If you got these achievements, can you post how you did it? I'm afraid to even attempt to stop a hot streak from scoring 10 points in 40 minutes, mainly because if I made it 30 minutes and then he got 10 points I'd probably break something very valuable...and I'm thinking of picking pau gasol or someother powerful post player for Well Rounded.. but wanna hear some other thoughts before actually goin for it.

I'm in the process of writing an Achievement Guide for this game and I'm gonna try and put some useful tips in there to help with these two achievements. I should be done with the guide in a few hours.
