Ranking system in Gears 2 multiplayer??

In Gears of War there was no ranking system when it came to multiplayer, and I was just wondering if anybody has heard anything about some sort of ranking system in Gears 2?

Well, technically there was a ranking system in Gears of war it was just points based... Supposedly there is a new ranking system in Gears of War 2 that not much has been mentioned about it except that it is to include similar ranks to Halo and CoD.

I believe I heard someone say that Cliffy said there would not be a ranking system, but players would be matched together according to their "trueskill ranking". I hope they don't do a ranking system.

There won't be a ranking system. Cliffy said that it would just match by true skill and that's it. I believe that's either determined by kills of points.

I wouldn't mind if its for fun, but if it was for an achievment though.... that'd probably make me mad. Just because i'd rush myself to get the achievment faster rather than just going up casually

its has been said by clify that there will be a true skill based raking system but nothing more than this.

well i guess a trueskill would be cool, i won't have to be in a game anymore where i get pwnd really fast.

There was a trueskill ranking system in Gears?! I guess I just really, really suck in ranked matches. I aways go player matches since for me all ranked matches have a red bar next to the title... every single time I load the list...
