Has anyone got this achievement ?

I decided just to set up a side MM game to my usual with Man Utd to get this, into the third season, and i have signed over 50 players but still have not got this achievement.

I dont know whether the fact i am simming games has any effect or picking any of these players for the team and also selling them on the next season to make room to buy more.

Just wondering how those on the forum who have it got it

hi, i got it in the same way you tried. i simmed all games and bought players then sold them on, unlocked as soon as i bought my 50th so it shoudl work, just keep buying more.
(and for future posts, i think questions like this should be in the achievement discussion thread, but may be wrong)

seems something is wrong my side, in my third season, signed just over 30 players this season, about 25 last, and not sure in my first and still dont have it so something went wrong somewhere down the line

will try it again in the future and see if it works then

tried doing it by starting a season buying as many as possible untill the transfer market closes then quitting out and doing it again, my stats say ive bought 52 people but i didnt unlock the achievement so it may have to be in one career

Yep. cause i did it in 3 seasons with Man Utd.

I've signed well over 50 players in 5 seasons in the same career and no achievement yet for me, I'm wondering if free agent singings didn't count so carrying on and hoping to get it after another couple of seasons signing only players already at a club :/

Got a feeling the free agents is the problem as it does say "buy 50 players" not just sign them, so i giving it another go to see and just buying this time with Man Utd on dollars, sold Ronaldo so that gives me massive funds to play with.

Though i forgot to upgrade my negotiator during the first window so missed out on getting more players then, just need to see what happens when i get down the line again

Im pretty sure that scouting doesn't count towards it. I bought about 10 players through scouting and din't get the achievement till I had a total of 60

Don't think you can, I made a tally of how many I bought.

Ye there is a tracker, I've seen it. And it definately has to be done In one career.

So can anyone clear up if signing free agents count?

Just buy all the shitters that cost a few hundred grand, thats how I'm doing it, buying as many cheapies as I can each time the window is open.

it does tell you there but it dont count towards the achievement you have to do it in one carrer mode.

My stats tell me I signed 119 players in my Real Madrid career (Id only played one career) before I gave up hope of getting that achievement without starting over again, so it's definitely not working 100% as we think it does -- I'd have it twice over if it did :)

I've started again and have 14 transfers under my belt. There's definitely something not quite right with this achievement, I knew I'd made a lot of transfers, but was surprised it was that many. I'm only signing players for a transfer fee from transfer market this time .. no free agents and no scouted players .. will be interested to see whether the achievement pops when I hit 50 this time.

I now have this achievement.

The first time i did it, i kept just taking on free agents but as you are only signing them it doesnt count as you must buy.

Started again, and i bought 50 players exactly, i kept a sheet of paper with a tally mark up and soon as it hit 50 the achievement popped up.

I'm trying to buy cheap players but it let me do only 3 bids, then it says something like "you don't have enough bids blablabla..."
Why?

And, where is the stat of the bought players' number?

i got mine with united, bought my negotiation staff up to 10, then every chance i got signed as many as i could from league 2, offered maximum bid, salary, bonus contract years etc. i simmed the matches and i got the achievement after about 1 and a half seasons.

I still havn't got the achievement and I have made over 100 transfers and atleast 90 of them I actually got from other teams. I am just wondering wots wrong :confused: and if i should just finish the 15 seasons and see if i get it then.

Does it still count if you buy the same player more then once like buy ronaldo sell him and buy him again in another transfer window ?
