I have both and since I purchased the Quick Charge Kit my Play and Charge hasn't been used once. I like the Quick Charge because it allows me to stay wireless at all times and I have it plugged in next to my chair so I don't even have to get up to switch out batteries :D.

I recomend the charge kit (the one thats a little stand. It comes with a rechargeable battery), as well as buying an exta battery (2 if you frequently have other gamers visiting your house), I have that one, works out great for me since I don't like to take long breaks while gaming due to batteries.

The clerk at EB: Games told me that the plug and play was a decieving since it doesn't actually charge WHILE your playing, and that you have to just keep it plugged in while you're not playing.

Not sure if I'm right about the plug and play, but the charger kit works great. 1 battery in stand = full in 2 hours. 2 batteries in stand = full in 4 hours.

If you do what I recomend your total (after tax) will probabally be about $42 (I'm guessing, I can't remember exactly).

I agree with Muta, get the Quick Charge and an extra battery. That way, once your battery goes dead, you just swap it and your dead battery will be charged by the time the current battery's dead.

(that confused me when I re-read it, hopefully you understood what I was trying to say)

I also have both and would say if you don't have a wired controller get both.

For some of those achievements that I'm sure you'll be going for in the future, you'll need a wired controller that will stay on while you are away.

Also the Plug and Charge Kit is only $4 more than buying a second battery which you'll need anyway.

So just pick both of them up. The Quick Charge kit works really, really well.

I agree with Wreckon I have BOTH.. I have the Plug and Play just incase I dont want my Controller to Disconnect..

I also have the Quick Charge with 3 batteries.. Two constantly charging and one in my controller.. The Quick Charge kit is AWSOME, Its a MUST HAVE for any gamer that plays ALOT...

A rubber band on the analog stick also works since it turns off because of inactivity, and not just being on.:p

Ohh yes it does work well. I know the rubber band trick. It is essential for games like Far Cry. Only thing is if you do this the controller will still go off once the battery dies. With the plug and play it won't go off.

I have both, but I only use the Rapid Recharge station now. The Plug and Play thing seemed like crap to me and took longer. The station charges two batteries at a time so you never have to go without wireless, and it comes with another battery when you buy it.

i have the play and charge and mine does recharge while i play. And the battery life lasts me for 2-3 days of playing. So i guess i would Prefer that bc my chair is close to my tv and u can always charge ur contrller while ur sleeping so it helps

Nyko makes some pretty good accessories, I've got a semi-wi-fi connector hard to illustrate because it uses cords and wi-fi.

So you spent about $95 at the store(s) today?:drunk

Sounds like you had a good time:p
Hope you wear out both of those batteries super fast (in a good way; since you just got the GodFather, and have something new to play)
