Will you get more fans if you choose harder songs??
My apologies if there's been a thread similar to this that's already been made.

im not sure if the song is harder but a harder difficulty and more stars help.
one song i randomly got over 300000 fans. i only needed 13,000 at the time for my million fans so that was a lil late <_<
find the 2 and 3 song custom set lists and do expert vocals for testify, give it away, and so whatcha want. put ur mic to the speakers and watch the points fly. tap the mic for overdrive if you want more points and testify is an easy song to also get the achievement hello Cleavland :p
maybe not the info you wanted or more than you needed but that's the best i can tell you

I'm not sure if the sing difficulty affects fans but I'm pretty sure its location does (difficulty of venue).

Insofar as getting a ton of fans when you're about to eclipse the million fans mark, I believe the game always gives you a large amount of fans when you get there. It's somehow capped so you can't get to 1,000,000 too quickly but once you get there, that cap is lifted starting with the song that put you over. It's not uncommon in the later venues to have a four song setlist net you 1.5-2 million fans. :)
As for the actual question posted, I have no idea about that. Best way to find out is to try it out and see what happens! :)

Rock Immortal is the threshold. Before that, fans trickle in. After that, the floodgates are opened.
In the first RB song difficulty did play a factor in fans earned. Can't say if it still does or not. The difference was fairly minimal though.

??
I started getting 500k+ fans per gig way before rock immortal. I did the everlong video (the first gig to give me ridiculous fans) before I had a sound guy or global publicist.

I was barely getting over 15,000-50,000 fans until Rock Immortal, now I get about 500,000-2mill per gig.

im with sebastian, i had my million fans long before i was even eligible to play rock immortal. im pretty sure that the venue that you play has something to do with it

That's almost certainly coincidence for you. I hit a million fans before the Rock Immortal set, and then starting bringing them in en masse.

I actually experienced the same as far as Rock Immortal being the threshold.
Perhaps because we both happened to do the minimum required to progress to Rock Immortal while others played more?

It took me forever to get my 1 million fans for some reason. Far longer than most anyone else I know had to wait. Once I got my million it went crazy. I did however have the Rolling Stones gig unlocked when I finally got my million some 3 or 4 gigs later.
