There are many questions to be answered as the close of the baseball season approaches...

Who will win the AL Central?
Who will win the AL Wild Card (or 2nd in central)?
Who will win the NL Wild Card?
Who will win the NL West?

Any WS predictions?

I personally think that the Tigers will hold on and the Twins will win the wild card. I like the style of baseball the White Sox play but I just think the Twins have more heart and more young guys who want it.

In the NL I think my Dodgers will hang onto the west and the Phillies or Marlins will get the wild card. I am hoping that the wild card team comes out of the east that way the Mets and the Cards will likely have to duke it out. That would make an easier matchup in the first round for the Boys in Blue, and one of the big teams will be eliminated.

For the WS I predict (or maybe hope) that it's the Dodgers and Yankees. I say the Yankees because they are the Yankees and they buy their championships. I say the Dodgers because of the deadline moves they made. These moves were after they played the Cardinals so I take that 0-8 record with a grain of salt. If they play the Mets I have to say they played the Mets as well or better than anyone this year. They went 3-4 I think and often had a diminished roster.

i think that the tigers have a good chance of winning.. and the white sox could go back to back... since for some reason my redsox got a hair up there ass, and decited to play wiffleball instead.. anyways.. off topic.. everyone should check out the new prospect for the Blue Jays, 23 years old, Name Adam Lind. he is from indiana., and i went to high school with him.. hes got mad skilles..just got called up to the Majors 2 weeks ago. glad to see someone from here is doing something..:Bounce:

I hope the Marlins can pull it off...

Undefeated series wise when entering the Playoffs...

Yeah it was unfortunate that the Red Sox got swept in that big 5 game series because that seems to have been the dagger in their hearts. I am hoping they return the favor this weekend, but they would still be a few games out. As much as I get sick of the whole Red Sox vs. Yankees rivalry I am kind of missing it right now.

i think that the tigers are kinda burnt out... i mean come on they had like a 15 game lead over the sox and twins and now the twins are only 2 1/2 games behined them...
for american league i would love to see the twins pull it off. i also hope the yankess lose the rest of they year never getting another win and the red sox meraculuosly winnig the AL east,.same with the white sox, ozzie guillen is a douchebag and they are overrated.
and my beloved cardinals willl win NL central. for NL championship game will be mets vs cardinals, mets winning.
twins vs. mets in world series.

mets being the champions.

Not bad but I say Mets Vs. Tigers in the World Series. Tigers win in 6 because of the pitching matchups.

Well the A's are down 2-0... Looks more and more likely like the Tigers are going to the World Series :(

I wouldn't be so sure. Anything can happen. Back in 2004 my Redsox were down 3-0. They came back aganist one of the best teams in baseball the Yankees. Won the series to go to the world series and sweep the Cardinals.. :woop:

Well you guys had Manny and Big Papi and a great offense to get back in it. The A's have the pitching (which hasn't shown so far) and are the Kings of GIDP (grounded into Double Play for non baseball fans) so it's a steep hill to climb going back to Detroit.

I agree., their pitching staff is ungodly. I just wanted to try and help out on the situation. Keep your head up champ you never know what could happen.

I know I know, but there is something that has been made this playoffs... The A's not getting eliminated in the 1st round. :D

Exactly, i mean the redsox didnt even make it. Look at the past 3 years. The Cardinals have been so close to a championship but fell short. The A's will probably do the same. They will be a contender until they finally win it. :)

**Off Topic**
I know how you feel being from Indiana, and having to deal with the colts being an outstanding football team in the regular season.Blowing everyone out of the competition, then to lose in the playoffs. Same every year, i know it gets old.

Well stick a fork in it, the Tigers are heading to the world series. Maybe Billy Beane can get us another big bat this off-season and provide some support to Swisher, Bradley and The Big Hurt if he comes back.

:( I seen that, so sorry. Like i said tho they will deffineatly be a contender next year. The Tigers were hungry. From opening day up until now. They deserve its taken them 22 years to get back to the world series.. Good for them. Better luck next year. For the Redsox and the A's ;)

Yeah the past seasons of suckitude must have taken its toll on the Tigers fanbase. Atleast the Yankees didn't make it to the World Series so it's a small consolation prize :woop:
