Rock Band for WII???

Yo guys i was thinking of my xmas present and i have been told i pick what i want and if its dear i pay towards so thought how about Rock band i have GH3 for wii anyways but £100 + £30 for game is it worth it???

rock band is rock band, and it will only be worth it if you got friends to play it with.

Rock Band is easier than Guitar Hero. Rock Band is more casual. It's worth it if you have friends to play with.

Wow, the grammar police are out in force in this thread. As the dude to my top says though, rock band is a band experience, played it at a mates and its a laugh but dunno if it would be anywhere near as much fun alone.

Ohhhhhhhhhh...

I've played Rock Band on guitar and i guess its exactly the same as Guitar Hero but a little bit easier. I would suggest getting Rock Band for 360 though or you could wait for Rock Band 2 to come out in EU, but God knows when thats gonna bloody happen!:mad:

Do you have a 360? If so, definitely get RB for 360. And even better, get Rock Band 2... because then you can rent RB1 from Blockbuster or something and pay $5 to get all the RB1 songs onto your HD.

If you don't have a 360, then yeah I'd recommend Rock Band anyway but the Wii version doesn't have Band World Tour and you can't use customized rockers in a band and it doesn't have any Download content.

The 360 version is far superior if have a 360.

I didn't like Rock Band when I played it around a friends...I don't think its worth it even for the drums.. going to wait for Gutair Hero World Tour rather then get Rockband 1 or 2..
The guitar on Rockband just seemed to be complete fail compared to the guitar hero guitars the quality of the build was rubbish and my friend has already broken the strum bar on it just from playing normally and it was just generally not as responsive when pressing the fret buttons.. the drums wern't paticuraly great.. it was cool at first but then they just became stupid.. and the vocal part of the game is a joke.. as long as you make some sort of noise thats the right tempo as the words it accepts it.

It's a laugh with your mates but on your own it would just get boring.

Also maybe I'm just to accustomed to the circular fret images in Guitar Hero but I couldn't stand the rectangle fret images ingame..

I second that. I played it on the wii at my cousin's house and the guitar is really horrible. The buttons are really hard and clicky. I can gold star welcome home by Coheed on the 360 and I failed it on the wii right before the solo.
