I don't have my levels prior to going in to Sapran but I will post those as soon as I reach a next save and load up to before.
My party set up was
Capell/Aya/Michelle
Sigmund/Balbagan/Ruto/Rita
Edmund/Eugene/Savio
In addition to all theories, could it be that the rank is based on the number of parties you have "right", such as each party that is "right" increases the rank you recieve? Also, what about an S rank? Rank A is orange in color, any bets that there's an S rank in red?
I'll post levels and if I'm successful again in getting an A rank (along with more details about how I went about Sapran) ASAP
Ok, just did it again. Same A Rank. Here's more detail as to levels, etc (party setup and spoils are in previous post on same thread so go look there for that)
These are the levels of my characters at the beginning of Sapran (at party setup page)
Capell 22
Aya 21
Michelle 15
Sigmund 18
Balbagan 20
Rico 21
Rucha 17
Edward 17
Eugene 17
Savio 15
As to going about the mission:
So first just started attacking the crystal right in front of you as well as enemies, and then proceeded to go take out the Hill Gigas thingys (the big green monsters) leaving all the crystals alone. Then I went hunting for the crab things and killed all of them, at this point, soldiers come intermittently and I started taking out all the crystals. All the bow crystals were destroyed last. Overall it probably took about 6-8 minutes. Also, I believe that I took more damage this time as compared to last when I first did it, but I'm not exactly sure. One more thing I noticed was that the third party you assign, doesn't actually come out onto the field (at least not for me), so I've only got 7 people running around (the first two parties). I'm gonna mess around with this a little more and if I go up or down I'll post what I can
