Hard Mode

Just letting everyone know that doesnt, there is a hard mode after you beat the game....and here i go

Do you start from lv1 or do you keep your level?

From what I read, new game plus only applies to the same difficulty so you have to start over. What I really want to know is if there is a new mode after hard (since the content text is the same for normal and hard).

you start at level 1, and so far, its not ALOT harder because i havent died and i had to get barrel of lulz achievment and had no problem. But it is noticibly more difficult, im gonna beat it hopefully again within a week (skipping cut scenes now) so we will see whats after hard.

I started hard mode a few days ago and have had little to no trouble at all with it, just havent played it much due to seraphic gate and other achievements, but for the New Game+, I havent found any way to do it using the same difficulty or not. If anyone else has been able to do it I would love to know how.

20-25 hours or so


you can reload your finished game save and it will give you free roam i believe. but no new game+

also, ive got the three achievments i was missing (barrel of lulz, rescure the prisoners, and 10 enemies killed in castle) on hard run and no problem what so ever, actually seems easier now that i know what im doing.

ok silly question here, i have just orderded this game £20 bargin. after being recomended it as i love square and RPGs full stop, but i keep reading that it seems easy to miss stuff for achievements so ill try to use the guides.

But should i start on easy first or normal.
Is there something that i cant do on easy?
Are there achievments for beating the game on all the level settings?

Yes there is an endgame area that you can't play on easy, this will cost you a few achievements.

Some achievements are still missing, so there may be one for the final difficulty.

could be that 1g achievement is for completing it on the hardest setting like bullet witch?!?!?

Thats my theory at the moment, I hope I'm wrong though as I hate forced re-plays.

yes, there is a mode harder than hard, apearently its very hard, people die alot on the FIRST two guards lol.

normal i did in 30 hours including crafting and exploring.

i did easy in 4hours just for achivements. i got as far as the last achivement. so i'd say 5 total on easy if u know your way.
