I was just wondering if anybody else on this site was reading anything at the moment and if so then you could post what you're reading.

I'm reading 'Phantoms' by Dean Koontz. It's definitely creepy. Almost finished with it. And I can tell you this, if you like scary stuff you should check this out. After I finish this book up I plan on reading the Hobbit.

So if you're reading anything post what it is.

The Regulators - Richard Bachman (aka Stephen King)

It's pretty good so far, I just hope the ending is as spectacular as it's leading up to be.

'Chain Mail: Addicted to You' by Hiroshi Ishizaki

Good book so far, it's about a girl who chooses to be different from everybody, when she gets an invite to write an interactive story with someone she doesn't know via message. The interactive story is about the girl, her boyfriend, Stalker that stalks the girl, and a cop who follows the stalker. The person whom she doesn't know plays the stalker while she plays the girl. But the story becomes real.....

I'm about to start 'The Canterbury Tales' by Geoffrey Chaucer. I've got no choice, I'm taking Major British Writers right now. Thank god it's only a semester long. I'll be taking Independent Literature next semester in which case I'll be reading 'Haunted' by Chuck Palahniuk.

Well, we've got the Prose edition. I'm pretty sure we're reading a majority of them, but it's select stories that our teacher will give to us. Was it a good book in your opinion? I've heard many things about it.

Does prose edition mean that it's the version not written in Middle English? Because if so then that's the version I read. I enjoyed some of the tales, there are a few bits that drag on, the pages long descriptions of someone praying to a certain god can get tiresome however.

One of my favourite books from the pre 1900's though is Voltaires Candide. I think it was written in 1759. It's a very good book. Lots of disemboweling.

I actually really enjoyed The Canterbury Tales :p Not sure if that makes me weird or not?

But, I'm reading a few right now:

Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen
The Sound of Laughter - Peter Kay
The Altman Code - Robert Ludlum

Men's Health is a great magazine.

As for books, starting, "The Art of Seduction" It's an awesome premise where you can actually categorize personality types and how to talk to them. Not only for dating, but I'm looking into the ways you can apply it to the workplace to get what you want.

Yeah, it's all in modern English.

I just finished the Prologue during Study Hall today, and I've already gotta say that it does drag on. I'm not looking forward to the Knight's story that is a good 60 pages long. I've got to read it over the weekend. :(

I'm currently re-reading House of Leaves, by Mark Z. Danielewski. If you don't know what its about, check out its Wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_of_Leaves) or something, because its a hard book to explain to the uninitiated. In simplest terms, its a story about a guy telling you stories about a guy he didn't know who is dead who is telling a story about a guy with a super weird house. Not super weird like it makes you want to kill people or it talks to you (per se), but weird like the inside of the house measures 5/16 of a inch larger than the outside, rooms and doorways leading to other rooms that don't exist start appearing, etc.

Give it a read if you have a few months to kill, because its definitely not something you read in a sitting. Some of the pages are blank, some have only musical notes on them, and some are written in code. It's a blast to have a go at.
