I think they look pretty fun, some look pretty challenging, others look like they'll be easy. Only bad thing is the missing points!

I'm really excited about these achievements, but I must agree, I wish it went up to 1000. :( But I'll enjoy getting them, that's for sure.

Question, why is, in the achievements list, the respect level 40 achievement all the way down... instead of between 35 - 45 ?

Just wondering.... maybe there's a specific reason :)

That's actually the way xbox.com listed it (why, i dunno)

I'll mention it to Routine, it's probably better to put it at the top with the rest of them..

I dunno ea did this with bf2 as well it seems like they make a bunch of ideas for achievements and don't get them all put in before the end and senses its ea I doubt we will see them get released in a update

i dont know about you guys but this game kinda sucks, i mean i am used to gta and saints row and this game lacks so many things like Graphics! lol

i've actually started to play this over Saints Row, it's a superb game, i missed the PC / Xbox versions and held back for this and i'm glad i did. Great game :)

does anyboyd know how difficult the achievements are?? Well its not too easy but they are not that hard there a re few tricky ones but if your good at GTA style games they should take a few days MAX I have 4 left but my 360 died after i got don of NYC, and I need 25 reels, 10 ex styles (which cant be done as there is no more gangsters left that sucks) the safes I need 8 more i forgot along the way etc so it shouldnt take more than a week

I finally got the "Executioner" Achievement!!! That has got to be the hardest Achievement in the whole game. Most of the execution styles are fairly easy to pull off, but the Traffic Accident was almost impossible. I had to go out to New Jersey to find a good spot to do it.

I accidently got a bit carried away when trying to extort a club and killed the owner will this affect my achievements later on as i realise that the achievement guide said extort all shop owners?

no, the business will be closed for a while but it will come back up then youll have to extort it again

For anyone wondering about how long of a 1000 it is...my friend got it and completed it, and it was easy for him but time consuming, takes a good week or 2 of good amount of playing...I meant for the full 835.

this game is werid as well im really confused i used the map for the film reels wright i for some reason ones in the midtown on 52nd street its suspose be next to someplanters and it isnt theres as well in hells kitches on 46th street suspose to be next to quincys store in a small alley isnt theres as well um just wondering is any alternate spots for these ??

no there are no alternate spots.

just like in GTA i used to accidentally grab packages as i completed the game and then i would be screwed when i went back to look for them thats probably what you did here. my best offer is that you continue on and get the rest and if you still don't get the achievement then go back and look for those again.

I'm halfway through the game, and I know a lot of people are having trouble reaching respect level 50 even when they are Don of NYC. So it leaves me to believe this game wasn't thought out thouroughly with achievements and all.
So i was wondering if there is a way that one of my achievements could be locked by getting another one too soon?
example: if I 'destroy all rival compounds', will that mess up my 'extort all businesses' achievement or 'Crack all safes' achievement.
Or maybe by 'completeing all hits', could I be killing a merchant needed in the 'help all merchants' If so. what order do you sugest I do these achievements in.
Also, after I become Don of NYC am I still able to "collect all 100 film reels?'

I've completed the game, but am stuck at level 49. Therefore I have a lot of work to do before i get to be 50, I kind of knew this would happen. But anyway I've answered some of my questions.

Answer: No it will not

by 'completeing all hits', could I be killing a merchant needed in the 'help all merchants' If so.

Answer: Again, not it will not. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that the only way that you can mess up the merchant favour achievement is by declining to help them when they ask for your help. I can't remember all of them, but i do know these

Arnolds Famous 47 (resteraunt) in NJ needs a favour.
Tylers Top cuts (barbor) in Hells Kitchen needs a favour

after I become Don of NYC am I still able to "collect all 100 film reels?'

Answer: Yes

Yeah, complete some of the missions (blue marker ones) and the favours (pink) and Hit contracts (yellow) For the Hit contracts do the bonus objective, it'll be a difference of sometimes 40,000 respect points. If you fail to do the bonus objective at the end of the hit contract, choose the option to restart it when it asks. Those respect points will be worth it.

Also, finding 100 reals gives you a cool 100,000 respect points.

hi all, i went to a prize fight got my gun out and shot the boxer dead!, i know you don't get an achievement for using a gun anyway but does the boxer respawn back? so i can go back and do it properly.

Yes leave and go do something else. They boxers re-spawn, don't know what actually trippers it, but they do.

I got all but one of the achievements in 66 hours of gameplay time. Although this included times when i sat in a safe house waiting for a merchant to reopen when I accidentally killed them.

i had about 50 hours of gamplay to get all but one achievement, and like 97/100 reels before i sent it back to gamefly

If you're used to playing GTA then graphics shouldn't be a problem.

Don't forget all the execution styles... Get it done early on while you have easily accessible mobsters... The 100,000 respect isn't too shabby!

Most of the extra achievements are very easy. Only exception are Monopoly and Heist. Heist may be easy for you, though, but it was a pain for me...took me about 10-15 attempts. Everything else was 1-2.

Monopoly is just kinda long and tricky, it's the only one I haven't done (with 1 attempt).

The Corleone Challenge achievements were really fun, though. This game is really solid and it's a 1250 you can be proud of. Unless you used the cheat codes, cheater. :p

The Execution styles can be a pain (try getting those ASAP), you have to collect 100 hidden movie reels, there's a bit of grind leveling up to 50 and the two longer Corleone Challenges *might* give you a hard time. That said, you should still get over 1000 without batting an eyelash. It is a sandbox game, so by definition it'll take a little while.

So stoked! FINALLY did the CC Monopoly achieve...32 seconds remaining! I had about 3 minutes left with the one compound remaining but had no health. I turtled letting the mobsters come to me and finally got a medicine bottle. Once full health, I had about a minute...I rushed in the compound without shooting anyone...planted the bomb and let it blow up in my face...achieve unlocked!
