just got home form seeing it, its a very trippy movie, very jarry camera angles and is fuckin hilariuos at times.
worth at least a rental when it comes out on dvd.

Yeah I went to see it yesterday afternoon..

I enjoyed it.. Adrenaline pumping action.. and I too thought it was funny as hell at times.. I only paid $5 to watch it (matinée or however you spell it)

So I thought it was worth it..

Ps~ Is it just me or does anyone else think that Jason Statham would be perfect to play in the HITMAN movie?? Vin Diesel just doesnt fit it as good. For example if you watch THE TRANSPORTER you KNOW that Jason is perfect to play Agent 47..

that one part was so fucking funny when they started doin it right in the middle of the city haha.

Saw it at the weekend and loved the camera work and do think it's a good film but given the main story I expected there to be more in the way of fights, gun battles and car chases, was a little tame really.

Not a bad film but doubt this one will go on my to buy list.

It seems like I am one of the few who was extremely disappointed by this movie. I thought that the jarring camera movement was distracting as well as the images shown on the walls etc... After reading about the plot, I thought they couldn't go wrong, but I felt the majority of the acting as well as the directing was horrible. I was expecting something much more fast paced and less funny. I suppose if my expectations going in weren't so high I might have enjoyed it a little more. Anyways those are my 2 cents.

My thoughts exactly. From the previews and the whole concept of the movie I thought the movie would be nonstop action the entire film but there was entirely too much downtime and talking being done in a movie where the protagonist has to keep his adrenaline pumping to survive. The funny parts were pretty good ('Achy Breaky Heart', fucking in Chinatown, ect.) but if you are going to do such a generic and filmsy plotline (hitman betrayed, goes after people that left him for dead) they should have gone completely balls out on the action or at least done some original action scenes.

It was a decent action movie but it in no way compares to Snatch. Hell, it doesn't even live up to Transporter level IMO.

LOVED this movie, can't wait for the DVD. Not coming in December from what I've found. Hadn't even thought about it for a while until I saw this thread.
