Any good ideas on how to make a makeshift mic stand?

hang it from your ceiling like that one guy said, thats what i did until i bought a mic stand. that way you can pause the game and yell at the top of your lungs "Ladies and Gentleman, lets get ready to rumble!

thats actually a good idea, as well i know that for a while one of my friends took the pole for his cymbals and taped his microphone to the top of it and stuck it inbetween the cushions on the couch

No to repeat what The Langsta already said, but I just went to Guitar Center and got a real mic stand for about $12 and a mic clip for another $7.

It's the best $20 I spent on Rock Band. And it looks really professional, considering the USB mic is a real microphone (unlike the plastic guitars and drums).

Real microphone + real mic stand = real cool.

I just use my xbox live headset, mainly because I do not want to spend 30 bucks or whatever for a rock band mic
