View Full Version : Flawless groove glitch? or what?

Ok, I did the flawless groove achievement (100% as bass upstrum only) on I think i'm paranoid, on Band quick play but it didn't give me it


I definiteley got 100%, i may have downstrummed by accident but i highly doubt that, can anyone help? Does it not work with a band? Thanks


Edit: ok this is ridiculous. I just did it on solo quick play and still didn't get it. I don't understand how I could accidently downstrum without missing a note :(

Maybe overstrumming? That would still give you 100%. I dunno.

I actually checked wikki on this and they said it only works with some guitars, what guitar were you using?

I used the guitar hero III one when I got it...

but I really don't think it should matter....

Don't use the solo buttons of the Rock Band guitar. Make sure you're only upstrumming. Don't worry about overdrive or a big rock ending.

Other than that, I dunno. Try it on Should I Stay or Should I Go, that's the song I got it on and it worked fine.

When I did it I was using the Les Paul on Should I Stay or Should I go.

i used the official rock band fender strat guitar... and there's no ending bonus on that song, do I have to use the buttons at the top of the guitar? (furthest away from the strum)

That is probably your problem. I have heard that you can't use the 'solo' buttons. Try it again using the regular buttons.

I think you're right. I think I read that somewhere too while trying to achieve this. Didn't make any difference to me I had a Gh2 controller.

As everybody else has been saying, don't use the solo buttons since they always count as a downstrum no matter what.

This achievement was great for me, as I play the guitar left handed with left flip turned off. Weird I know... So all I had to do was strum down and seeing as I play lefty, it technically is an up-strum. I use the GH2 Guitar.

I did it on Maps. I had to do it like 4 times because it wouldn't unlock. I wasn't doing anything wrong, it just wouldn't unlock.

that song dosen't have a big rock ending... i'll try at the top notes anyway but it'll take me a while to get used to using them now :L

I did it on Maps with the RB Guitar. Solo Play.
