Impressions from Demo

Is anyone else as excited about this game as I am? I was REALLY impressed by the demo. And with EB Games' price at only 50 bucks for the 360 version (dunno if they'll change it or not:confused:) it's looking like a hit. The graphics are the best I've personally witnessed on a playable (retail, or demo) game so far, and the gameplay is like a mix of GTA, with a bit of Farcry, what with the island and stuff.

Leave your comments, etc. here, I'm interested to see what you all think.

NOTE: In OXM, I was reading their preview, and they said there was going to be a grappling gun, so you could hook onto a car/boat/etc. and basically parasail with your parachute! Uber Coolio! (Does anyone know if this is an easter egg gun available in the demo? Or just something that will be in the retail?)

I've gotta say I enjoyed it to be honest. Like the free roaming aspect as per usual. The game looks good, i.e. the trees, grass, and water effects.

It plays ok, seems a tad easy with the auto aim, but hey, i'll be hiring it at least, even if I have it for a month or so. Will be a game that I'll go for the full 1k in :)

An enjoyable, free roaming, silky looking game in my honest opinion :)

Pity about the lack of multiplayer though, but thats what Saints Row is for ;)

I loved the demo. You got to do almost everything the game has to offer in 15 minutes. I was really annoyed when it ended though... I wanted to jump the bridge!

Some of the achievements look awesome "base jump from over 1000 metres" looks like a lot of fun to be had.

The demo was fun, but I'm not quite sure if it's worth a purchase. Maybe I'll buy it if I get a good deal.

When I first started playing the demo I was visually amazed! I just kind of laughed when I landed on the moving car though. ;) I must admit this game is alot of fun! I love the shooting with auto aim and lock on because it allows you to rapidly spray down multiple enemies. Very cool concept and i think for $50 this game is a must buy!
