OK i seen the screen shots and the achievements on this game and is it one of those games where u have full access to the city or whatever and u can meaninglessly smash things or......

Is it a game where you just have to follow the story and then that's it not much more to do.

and also how many hours is this to get full 1000?

you might want to do at least some of the story. If only to unlock the abilities that let you do mass destruction even faster :)

maybe get that random U-Foes attacks to spice things up too

Trust me you can do what ever you want, im playing it the moment and im really getting into it, im currently going for the jump challenges i have 14/15 done but i cant bloody find the last one:( i think i might of marked one of that i havent done lol, plus you have to look round the whole building to see if its there or not and some of them i just had a quick look then went so i might of missed some, so therefore i have to re-print the map and mark them of all over again:(.
