It has been brought to KDog and my attention that some users on our site are stealing achievement information from some other sites. This is something that we, Xbox360Achievements.org can not do. We do not tolerate it, and will take action if necessary.

We do have methods to tell if this is occuring...

It's a brave and bold accusation. I would like to hear some names via PM please and I will look in to it.

We are looking at fixing the icons, so that they can't steal them ;) But we do not accept icons from other sites. We are above that, so please DaKing, get in touch.

If people submit the achievements picture then their's no way of proving where they got it from. Like so.

As for fixing the icons so people cant steal them, seems alot of work.
I would'nt worry about it, because when a new achievement icon appears most of the sites have them within a few days anyway.

It is a problem that myself, Webby and Routine have been talking about. Like Webby said, we should have a system in place soon that wont allow other sites to steal from us, esecially as we should be getting them first in the near future as well.

And DaKing, if you have proof then please forard this onto the management team. Cheers.

We can put a watermark on the pictures and soon enough we will have some that sites won't have for a while ;)

I still have to see any proof that this has happened.

Every achievement list submitted lately has either had a Xbox.com link with a profile for the game, or pictures directly from xbox.com.

Maybe its about a guide? If anyone knows anything about this, please PM one of the admins with a little more detail than "someone has taken something from someone" and we'll look into it.
