ND is notre dame right?

Well this is a message about if you are playing as Notre Dame.

Notre Dame basically is in a BCS confferance. You need a team like boise state, or hawaii ect.. to get the BCS bid.

LOL

Notre Dame is not in a BCS Conference. They are independent. That really made me laugh.

And to the original poster, no need for a triple post right there. That was serious spam.

I think maybe he meant there really is no need for them to join a conf. due to the fact that they are special. As long as they have a decent season they would be picked over other teams to play in a bowl game, even if the other teams had a better record. Cause they're ND?

I used boise state and simmed for 2 seasons making sure i won every single game and the championship game. After my second season bowl game win i got the invite. Try that and let me know if it worked for you.

Yeah, ND has special qualifications that guarantee them a bowl game if they have a successful season.

It's called an "At-Large Berth" and it has nothing to do with being in a BCS conference. After the automatic berths have been granted, the remaining berths, known as "at-large" berths, are filled from a pool of teams who are ranked in the top fourteen and have at least nine wins. So really any team that does well, be it Boise State, BYU, or Norte Dame will earn an At-Large Berth to play in major BCS Bowl Game. From other message boards I have been on Notre Dame does work. I assume you are putting as many Big-10 teams on your schedule as possible...Notre Dame should not have any games locked because they are independent. So make sure you are loading it.

I personally did it with TCU last night in one season. I scheduled 4 ranked Big 12 teams (Missouri, Kansas, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma). When I got to the BCS Championship game I saved, then simmed the BCS game. I then accepted my contract renewal and then headed to the off-season when it starts to post the season records. This is when the achievement unlocks. I had to reload and re-sim that last game four times for it to unlock.

Good Luck!

Marino, that didn't work for me...:( Instead i got the invite at the end of the second season with TCU after simming through the nc game 2 times and losing it both times, but for some reason i got the invite on the second sim...weird. I just wanted to thank you becuase this was the last achievement i needed and was very frustrating, but i did follow your procedure.
