1) It only takes about 5 seconds to do a search. It's actually a lot faster to search and find another topic about the same thing than to actually make a new thread. More then likely, you won't have to type anything at all, because more then likely, your questions will already be answered elsewhere.

2) You get a "post point" for posting anywhere, not just making a new thread. You've been here for under a month and have nearly 250 posts. You, of all people, should know that fact.
