The Wire - New Season in Sept

For those that dont know the wire is a crime drama on HBO. IMO its the best show on TV. Realistic and Gritty. The take one case for a full season. Not like most shows where its crime, investagtion, court, done in one hour. If you have HBO I highly recommend checking it out. Also season 2 and 3 are on demand right now. Any other fans of this show? I know graffik was but havent seen a post from him on here since ive been back.

I love "The Wire" but between family time and gaming time, tv time is basically non-exsistant. But as I've said a thousand times thank me... I mean thank God for Tivo.

I just finished watching most of my old Tivo episodes of "The Wire" and damn am I pissed. How in the hell do they kill my man Stringer... Stringer Bell is Hakeem from New Jack with more bite. How can you kill him he's like Frank White from "Kings of New York"? I love Omar's character but man am I pissed. I don't even know if I'm going to watch it anymore.

HBO should have learned from their killing of Wild Bill on "Deadwood" and its corresponding ratings drop.

deadwood is loosely based on history and wild bill had to die because thats what happened.

I couldnt disagree with you more about striger though. I just wish Avon did it when he found out about D. String was too busy playing them "away games" and was, as Avon put it, " A man without a country. Not hard enough for this right here, and maybe, just maybe, not smart enough for them out there." String was a snitch on his best friend, a snake killing family behind his back, and just stupid to cross Omar and Brother like he did. Was so happy when he finally got got.

1. Get the name right.

2. I'm still here and I'm pumped for the 10th. The previews already have me hooked. Looks like Omar & Marlo's paths are going to cross this season.

Yeah the 4 kids plot looks interesting. cant wait! cant believe it took 19 months!
