Emplacement Killer
Awarded for 250 emplacement kills in Ranked Quick Match games.

This means destroy 250 emplacements. Have a friend make a bunch of machine gun nests and you blow them up.


Does this mean that somebody has to be in the machine gun when you blow it up?

Or does you friend just have to make the gun & you blow it up?

if you see an emplacement blow it up and it counts as a kill, aslong as sum1 is init, a.i or player.

just get ur mate to spawn loads of machine gun nests and u sit in a tank and own em

im not sure about that. i blew up over 250 emplacements with a friend last night and at the end of the match it said i only destroyed like 20 of them. if you look at the points when you blow it up they go from 48, 49 points if the guy is holding the emplacement but if he is not then you get like 8 or 9 points. if you just destroy the gun no points show up. i really think that they have to be holding the gun for it to count. at least it looked like that is the way for me. because i should definitly have this achievement by now.

Yes I must agree. I was helping "someone" haha Shofield last night and they def have to be at the gun and holding it. This takes some timing.

The best weapon I have found so far to complete this with is the Panther tank.
With its 88mm cannon it can destoy both the person and gun. Please note as well that allied emplacements take less damage than axis. so ideally you want to destroy allied machine gun nests and use a panther. Focus the dot on the basae of the tripod and fire. The reload rate is perfect for doing 100 drops in a row as we do.

We will keep doing it until you get it shofield!
Def one of the more tedious and annoying achievments.
