silent order glitch?

so i know about the way to kill peasents quickly here by becoming their god, but i thought it only happened after u beat the game. i go in there to try to steal the gold bag using the townsfolk as a distraction, and as im coming back with it the cutscene plays and im their god. cool! i thought but since all the peasents were killed fighting i thought i could leave and come back to start killing them. but when i came back...everyone was gone..no peasents, no silent order members, nobody. is this a glitch?, do they come back later?, are they somewhere else?, and do i have to kill 1000 peasents the looong way? thx

This is strictly a guess on my part, so if I'm wrong, I hope that someone corrects me. My guess would be that you have to kill the one thousand peasants the long way. Why the game glitched I can't say, but it really won't take you very long to kill the requisite peasants. Its a shame that you can't use the Silent Order trick. You might try advancing a little farther through the game and then coming back to see if they've respawned. Otherwise, start wiping out the residents of Spree.

thx man! i beat the game and came back and they were there. my minions are slaughtering them repetedly as i type this.(i actually got the 1000 peasents before, but now its helping me on my 10000 lifeforce achivement:))
