Achievements not unlocking?

If your sure you got all the metal bars and birds but didnt get the achievements for them,
Then goto chapter select and choose to do the 1st mission and collect all the bars and birds.

Then it should unlock.(well it did for me)

It didn't for me. I am not sure what exactly I missed, but I am thinking I need to redo the whole thing. If anyone is reading this, make sure you get everything in order the first time through!

see thats where im pissed off ive gone through half a dozen times and STILL cant find the metals i didnt get the last times through and the clues for the investigator one

Ok heres your problem (maybe this happended to me) I played each level twice first time through all the birds in the level and metals and meeles. second time through I did it will the evidence then the guns. The problem here is that the second time through the game is bugged to erase your first time through only with the metals and bird if anyone saw my tag before it sayed I have all the bird in every level but I didn't have the golden bird. So what you do is play the game again do the bird and metals in every level I had to play to level 5 or 6 I am pretty sure I got it when I was in the liberary or when you escape the liberary. I hoped that help feel free to ask me questions because i played alot of this game, I beat it 5 times and probaly going to even more it was a good game.:rock

i got it the next night and now im not as pissed by far. i had to replay up to level 4 anyways so i could get the chief investigator, which i got before the metals lol. i got all the metals as i went so i could make sure i didnt miss any if i did. i got it eventually and after like 6 or 7 times through the game lol. With any other game i would have stopped at 2 lol. its definately a great game and is well worth playing multiple times
