I really like Se7en, Princess Mononoke, and Enter The Dragon.

Ya well I don't expect everyone to agree with me. ;)
Besides, I don't see anything good about a movie that promotes adultury, and even worse with an underage teenage girl.

If you argue with that logic, then you shouldn't like kill bill for promoting violence =P.
and besiddddes its not promoting. It's a story. But people seem to see it that way. For instance, my dad came out of the theatre after seeing it and said "wow, that was great" and then his girlfriend almost broke up with him for saying that. Meh.

I don't blame his girlfriend. Sounds like she has some morals, which is something America is lacking in today.

Appreciating a well written story with great acting doesn't have anything to do with morals. Morals are subject to your own believe in good and bad. I don't support adultery OR statutory rape in real life, but I don't support murder in real life either and still love kill bill.
The begining of Kill Bill has her about to be raped for the 100th time while being in a coma. The "promotion" of that isn't any better.

Top Gun is one of the best movies ever made. Nothing touches it for Hetrosexuality either.
The Lord of the Rings films are at the top aswell, along with Naked Gun and most films along the lines of American Pie and Van Wilder.
Worst would have to be Billy Elliot or any chick flick.
Minty

Forgot top gun!!! Love that film. Its so camp and ghey its unbelievably cool.
And its all real footage. If that was being made nowadays it would all be computer graphics.
ANd the new puppys been named Maverick lol.

I don't give a shit about Donnie Darko, he was in Brokeback Mountain therefore I don't respect that queer one bit. Same goes for Heath Ledger. Remember people, these are my opinions and I'm entitled to them. If you don't like them, too fucking bad.
And just for the record, saying American Beauty is a well written story is also just an opinion.

I wasn't implying that it was fact. I just meant thats why he enjoyed it which doesn't make him without morals as you seem to insinuate.
But your previous statement has left me stunned to say the least. I'll respect your opinion, but fuck man.

Hmmmmm, just because Jake Gylenhaal played a homosexual, doesn't make him one :p
He is just a very very brave actor that chose to take a chance in his film career. I too am not a fan of the film, or even the idea, but I am a Donnie Darko fan and nothing can take that away from him. He was a legend in that! And thats a fact ;)

That's cool man, and I don't doubt it. I've heard nothing but good things about Donnie Darko. But I'll tell you one thing, you couldn't pay me ANY amout of money to play a homosexual, and kiss other men. I don't call that brave. He took a chance with his career, because he didn't have anything to lose. His career was going downhill, same as Heath Ledger.
But whatever man, everyone has their own opinions and such, and I respect both of yours. But it won't change mine. ;) And that's a fact. :p
Oi! Stop using my saying! :p
I'll use that Infraction button on you :p And thats a fact! lol
Totally agree on the point about all the money in the world, same here. And it would always be hard for Gylenhaal to top Donnie Darko's cult status, was a problem that I suppose he tried to overcome with this. Oh well, each to their own eh :p

And Bauer is a legend, I'm just hoping they don't kill the series because of a shoddy movie that won't work :(

I don't even understand how they're going to do a movie based on a show that takes place in real time for 24 hours.
And I heard they might have a completely different cast just for the movie, so it doesn't coincide with the show.
OT: Maslan, according to your sig, Minty's package is about as long as the Great Wall of China.
The movie ISN'T real time!!!!! Still not sure how they can call it 24 then  I'd call it "One Hour and Forty Two Mins" :p

Haha, this movie's gonna suck. I bet it's gonna be weird hearing Jack say 'Fuck'. Although he does say it on the Season 4 bonus dvd, in an added scene.
I know this is way ot, but Season 6 is gonna be the shit. Jack's about to tear China a new asshole! :woop: :woop:

I don't really have a list for worst movie because usually if a movie is bad I forget about it right away. The most recent bad movie I've seen is Edmond (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0443496/). So with that out of the way, all of these are my most favorite movies:
The French Connection
Throne of Blood
The Great Escape
City of God
Oldboy (FUCK THE REMAKE!)
L.A. Confidential
Heat
A Clockwork Orange
Infernal Affairs
The Deer Hunter
8½
The Seven Samurai
Taxi Driver
Goodfellas
Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas
Notorious
The Good, The Bad & The Ugly
Apocalypse Now
Stalag 17
